NAMPOA is a non-profit voluntary association established in 1992 to represent Namibia's upstream oil and gas operators.
It serves as a forum for professional interaction, practical cooperation and coordinated engagement with Government, regulators and society on matters affecting the responsible development of Namibia's petroleum sector.
NAMPOA members have collectively invested more than
N$80 BILLION
in Namibia's petroleum sector since 1993, while also supporting the Petroleum Training and Education Fund (PETROFUND), which contributes to skills development for Namibians entering the energy sector.
Members work with the Government of the Republic of Namibia, the Ministry of Mines and Energy, NAMCOR and other stakeholders to support exploration activity, responsible operations, investment confidence, local participation and sustainable sector growth.
